Chemesis houses on its territory a wide area subject to a TRPP which benefits from teconomic platform status. This perimeter brings together Seveso's classified establishments, world leaders in speciality chemicals and production of industrial gases, sharing joint risk management. Thanks to its various shared services, this ultra-dynamic site promotes the competitiveness of its industries and the development of new investors. Explanations.

Built at the beginning of the 1950’s, the industrial platform of Carling/Saint-Avold extends over an area containing many enterprises classified as Seveso “high threshold” sites and subject to a Technological Risks Prevention Plan (TRPP). Today, this zone welcomes a broad spectrum of activities in the field of advanced speciality chemicals.

A dynamic and attractive platform
50 ha available in 2016 and 150 ha in 2020 |
A 24/24 secured compound |
Chemesis has a large supply of land, which allows it to accommodate activities of any size. Thanks to its technological risk culture, the site enjoys the status of economic platform. It is thus authorized to accommodate new establishments classified as Seveso 2, subject to protection of its employees and maintenance of a high level of safety. It is a real strength that greatly simplifies the establishment of the businesses subject to this regulation.
"Newcomers fit into a group that already manages the risk within a secured area. This is a virtuous approach."
Lionel Gernolle, Director of the Arkema France Chemesis plant
From the definition of their business model to obtaining administrative approvals, project owners are accompanied from end to end through a one-stop shop. In less than a year, SNF Coagulants has thus obtained the endorsement of the public authorities and laid the first bricks of its new factory.
